Ice Cream People Corespondent Nick Sherman alerted me of this frozen treasure, the all metal Creamy Toy, by Gary Baseman. According to Vinyl Pulse, "Gary Baseman’s tragic frozen treat, Creamy, will drop as a limited-edition metal figure from Fully Visual this Tuesday (8.19.08) @ 11 AM PDT. As with previous Fully Visual releases, this one is limited to 100 figures (99 silver / 1 gold ‘chase’). Creamy complete with can packaging will go for $130 (+ shipping)."

There will be an evidence station set-up to browse and contribute to, as well as live artist-renderings of our frozen friends by 4 of New England's premier Ice Cream Experts. Ice Cream-Centric Music provided by Main Fader, as well as a musical performance the the mysterious Thunderhole!

Harvard Square Painting Session

Today me and fellow Ice Cream Advocate Felipe Ortiz, spent the afternoon explaining and illustrating the trademark characteristics of Ice Cream People for curious tourists. The sun was out in full-force in Cambridge, MA. Thus we did not encounter any frozen-folk, but I think our audience understood the criteria for identifying an Ice Cream Person.
