Monster Island

Turns out the Art Parade in New York was canceled due to inclement weather, but Ice Cream People Researchers don't fear high powered gusts of wind, and the immense danger of violent electric storms, we party in it! Thus I ended up at the Monster Island Blockparty in Brooklyn. I'd like to thanks the organizers of this special event for letting me conduct my ad-hoc-frozen research. In addition to meeting a plethora of Ice Cream Advocates, I was fortunate enough to witness a number of earthshaking musical performances, and a couple high class art exhibits! Tiny Showcase's "We = Trouble" group show, featured awesome collaborative works from across the nation in the Secret Project Robot space. And down the hall Live With Animals hosted the "Symbiosis in Exotica" show!

Seaside Heights

The Ice Cream People of Seaside Heights, NJ know how to retain a cool figure. These frozen folks live at Kohrs Ice Cream Stand on the boardwalk. The bottom image is an example of the rare "Waffle Ice Cream Bikini Sandwich Person".

Summer Sweets

I received a lead from Dan DeGraaf that New Jersey houses some remarkable Ice Cream Culture. It turns out he wasn't kidding!
The Summer Sweets Ice Cream Parlor (in Lavalette, NJ), provided some great specimens, and answered the question regarding the origin of the siamese scoops above. They are the specialty of Frank and Karen Boris, of "Character & Co."
